Timothy J. Wrather is a graduate of Indiana University, where he earned a B.A. in History and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he earned his J.D. and focused his studies on litigation.

After beginning his career with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s office, Tim has dedicated the remainder of his career almost exclusively to criminal defense. Tim worked for both the Legal Aid and Defender’s office and the Neighborhood Defender Service of Detroit where he represented indigent, criminal defendants. Tim also maintained a small, private practice in Detroit and Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, which also focused on criminal defense. Tim has represented clients in a wide range of cases from simple assault and battery charges to murder, and has gained significant trial experience.
Tim currently lives in Marquette with his wife Rebecca and their son Nathaniel.
