Jonathan (Jonny) Ballew received his law degree at UIC School of Law and his journalism degree from DePaul University, both in Chicago.

Jonny believes in providing honest advice and fearless representation for his clients — adopting the goals and needs of his clients as his guiding North Star.

He has exclusively practiced criminal defense since becoming a licensed attorney, winning dozens of trials, both jury and bench, across many different types of cases.

Before his career as an attorney, Jonny was a journalist. He also served as a light armored vehicle commander in the Marine Corps. Jonny is a citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.
