Public Defender
William R. Sullivan is an alumnus of Northern Michigan University and the University of Michigan Law School.

Mr. Sullivan oversees the office’s district court practice and represents clients who are charged with felonies. Mr. Sullivan has practiced for nearly fifteen years, serving as an assistant prosecuting attorney, trial lawyer in private practice, and as a research clerk for the 46th Circuit Court. He is grateful for the opportunity to use the skills he has learned in these capacities to represent our clientele in his hometown.
In addition to legal work, Mr. Sullivan serves on the Board of Directors of Room at the Inn and Marquette Alger Resolution Services.
